Much awaited Android 4.4 kitkat for Samsung is more likely to show up on Galaxy S4 and Note 3 in January 2014.
After the launch of Google’s Android 4.4 Kitkat every smartphone owner is waiting for the latest OS to show on their device, in which two of the flagship model of of Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 was much expected to get this update. As LG G pad google play edition and HTC One 
GPe has already got an update to 4.4.2 , it also seems that samsung galaxy s4 Google paly edition (GT-I9505 has got an android update as well.
According to the statement of French carrier SFR there is going to be a update for Galaxy S4 at the end of the January 2014 followed by an update for Note 3 at the beginning of February. Even though precise date is not yet given by the company but they say that accurate date will be given after they get info from their software department.
This not the first time SFR gave info about the release of an update, they are well known for such actions as they did this at the time of android 4.3. Many more carriers are expected to roll out their update in US after they get the restrictions and other things configured as per their specifications. According to us US carriers will take another month to get the things rolling.
Samsung has not yet given any info about their update as they always disclose these kind of things at the day of release. Samsung takes time to roll out their update as they have to configure their custom launcher and other features required as the hardware needs.
After the android 4.4 kitkat launched it first showed up in Nexus followed by google play devices as they need very less or no customization. Now all the major companies are trying to get updates for their devices.
